2007 Most Livable Small City in the Country
The Cities of Davenport and Rock Island are being recognized at the U.S. Conference of Mayors for the visionary waterfront development plan, RiverVision.
On Monday, June 25, 2007 the cities of Davenport and Rock Island will be receiving the First Place City Livability award for cities smaller than 100,000 in population in the 2007 City Livability Awards Program. The award is sponsored by The U.S. Conference of Mayors and Waste Management, Inc.
